David Mudrinich (b. 1953)

David Mudrinich, a landscape painter, was born in 1953. In 1976 he earned a bachelor's degree in art education from Pennsylvania State University, and in 1992 he completed an master's in fine arts degree in art from the University of Georgia in Athens.
An associate professor of art at Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, Mudrinich has displayed his work in numerous individual and group exhibitions across the United States. He is the recipient of several awards and accolades, including an Honorable Mention at the Fourteenth Annual Exhibition of the Lyndon House Art Center in Athens, and the Juror's Merit Award at the LaGrange National XVII, cosponsored by the Lamar Dodd Art Center of LaGrange College and the LaGrange Art Museum in LaGrange.
Mudrinich's oil paintings Atlanta, Outer Orbit (1989), Beyond Turkey Buzzard Mountain (1988), Morning from Mt. Yonah (1986), and Sidwell Road, Appalachee (1984) are part of Georgia's State Art Collection.
