Rebecca Goodale

Rebecca Goodale earned her degree in printmaking and textile design at the Portland School of Art in Maine. In 1981 she began teaching at the University of Southern Maine in Portland.
Goodale spent twelve years working on her Lullaby in Maine project, which, like many of her works, is presented as a book. Her work is featured in collections around the nation, including those of the Library of Congress and the Smithsonian African Museum of Art, both in Washington, D.C.; the Maine Women Writers Collection at the University of New England in Portland, Maine; and the New York Public Library.
Her fiber piece Ikat (1975) is part of Georgia's State Art Collection.
