Roger Jamison

Roger Jamison was raised on a farm in Kansas and later became a resident of Juliette, in Morgan County. He taught ceramics, drawing, and design at Mercer University in Macon until he retired in 2009. His work is part of the permanent collections of Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, the Lamar Dodd Art Center in LaGrange, the Macon Museum of Arts and Sciences in Macon, and the University of West Georgia in Carrollton.
Known for using wood-firing techniques to create his work, his stoneware piece Night Fish #9 is part of Georgia's State Art Collection.
