Ruth Laxson

Ruth Laxson began living and working in Atlanta in 1953, studying at the Atlanta College of Art from 1958 to 1965. Her works have been featured in numerous private and public collections, including those of the High Museum of Art and Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, both in Atlanta. Laxson was one of twenty-seven artists featured in the Georgia Council for the Arts publication Georgia Masterpieces: Selected Works from Georgia Museums. Her print Homage to Agee is part of Georgia's State Art Collection.
