Tom Francis (b. 1951)

Tom Francis was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, in 1951. A professor of painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design, he creates extremely physical, colorful paintings in which “interior spaces, landscape, the intertwining of flora and fauna” provide a framework.
His work has been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries, including the Fay Gold Gallery and High Museum of Art in Atlanta and the Georgia Museum of Art in Athens. His work is also part of many collections, including those of the Champion Corporation, Coca-Cola Company, and Disney Corporation.
